A manufacturer warranty provides consumes with limited coverage for select structural, mechanical, or electrical failures and defects. Not every product comes with a manufacturer warranty and they typically last for only 90 days to one year. Additionally, there are a number of issues, such as accidental damage (e.g., drops, cracks, spills) or power surges that are not covered under manufacturer warranties. Protection plans provide coverage over and above a manufacturer warranty and extend the coverage period by multiple years, giving the customer increased peace of mind for their purchase.

Our merchant partners make money by keeping a portion of the fee they charge for each protection plan sold. In most cases, the merchant will have a variety of protection plan SKUs, each with an associated price that determines what they are paid for a given transaction.

Launching a program with Allstate Protection Plans is fast and easy. Merchant partners are provided an easy implementation guide, access our Allstate Protection Plans Falcon API, and will be up and running in hours. We also have a partner success team on standby to assist in the event of any questions. 

Allstate offers protection plans for dozens of product categories and protects a broader assortment of products than any other provider. Common product categories include: electronics, mobile phones, appliances, smart home products, furniture, jewelry, and sporting equipment. Upon purchasing a protection plan, customers will receive complete coverage details via an email or brochure, with information on how to file a claim. We provide customers with options to file a claim directly with Allstate Protection Plans online or over the phone from the convenience of their home, using our omni-channel claims platform.

The documents and setup of your profile will only take one to two hours of your time. However, it may take a few days for the background check to be returned. The entire process from start to finish usually takes about seven to 10 days. 

Yes. You are able to set up the area that you cover within your ServicePower profile. 

You will receive all of your dispatches and complete all of your claims through ServicePower. 

We will negotiate a flat rate that you will be paid per trip for labor. 

You will be paid via direct deposit twice a month. If you do not opt in to be paid by direct deposit, you will be mailed paper checks. 

Servicers will need to review and sign our agreement, submit to certain verifications depending on the type of work you will be doing, and configure a ServicePower profile.
