SquareTrade Limited is registered in England (company no. 7165194) and is authorized under the Insurance Distribution Directive as an agent of Starr International (Europe) Limited (“STARR”) to carry out general insurance business. Its registered office address is 2nd Floor, 5 Golden Square, London W1F 9BS, England and both SquareTrade Limited (registered number 538538) and STARR are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
SquareTrade Europe Limited (C90216) is authorized under the Maltese Insurance Distribution Act as an Enrolled Insurance Agent of Starr Europe Insurance Limited (“STARR Europe”) and Cardif-Assurances Risques Divers (“CARDIF”) (the insurers) to carry out general insurance business. Its registered office address is 9, Pope Urbanus VIII Street, Birkirkara, Malta, BKR1425. Both STARR Europe and SquareTrade Europe Limited are regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority, and are co-manufacturers of the insurance products, for which STARR Europe provides cover and SquareTrade distributes, while CARDIF operates through its Austrian branch CARDIF Allgemeine Versicherung and is regulated by the French Autorité de contrôle prudential et de resolution (ACPR).
SquareTrade Europe B.V Limited (No. 0786.464.518) with registered office at Avenue du Port 86C (box 204), 1000 Brussels, Belgium (RPM/RPR Brussels), is authorised under the Insurance Distribution Directive as a mandated underwriter of Starr Europe to carry out general insurance business. STARR Europe is regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority and SquareTrade Europe B.V is regulated by the Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority.
SquareTrade Europe Limited has also been passported to write business in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden.
